Yep. It's true. Jason Momoa aka Aquaman, Khal Drogo, and literally Hollywood’s wild-man heartthrob has shaved off his iconic beard after six whole years. Gone. Like your 2020 gym resolution.
“Haven’t shaved in six years… and here we are again,” he said in the now-viral video. 😭
This isn’t just beard drama for clout. This is real. And it’s actually for a bigger reason.
🌊 He Did It for the Planet, Not the Gram
Jason isn’t out here chasing likes, instead he’s chasing climate action. The beard-shaving moment was to spotlight his clean water brand Mananalu, and their new partnership with Boomerang Water.
They’re on a mission to cancel single-use plastic bottles and push for sustainable water alternatives.
“It’s time to make a change for the earth, for our kids, for the future,” Jason said.

Hollywood tea? Word on the street is that Dune: Part Three director Denis Villeneuve wanted the beard gone for Jason’s next role. And like the loyal king he is, he did it.
